| In 1908 Morris Cooper created a workwear production company. A tailor by trade, he initially developed work-wear clothing for export to South Africa. During 1914 he switched production to army battle dress. In 1946 Harrold Cooper had a vision for using denim as a desirable casual wear material. Lee Cooper the original English Jean company has always had a passion for Jeans, from the public outcry in the 50s with ladies front zipped jeans to colouring in the 60s, always on top of trends and technology. Lee Cooper celebrates its 100 birthday this year and is as ever still at the forefront of design and marketing. In 2007 the Individual Clothing Experience Ltd (*ICE) commenced a partnership with Lee Cooper to provide an online Outlet for the brand. This site is owned by *ICE and was designed by UP and is managed by Pull Digital, a leading UK e-commerce firm. *ICE is managed by Steve Alexander, a General Manager with Tesco for 17 years, with extensive experience of Customer Service, e-commerce and Distribution. |
